Attended a Deaf Forum held by Deaf & Hard of Hearing Federation together with Teacher Wee Wee, Victor, Tony,Jeremiah and Andy.

It was held at ERC Institute Pte Ltd and it was one of the more interesting forum in comparison to talks of common sense topics that i had ever attended.

Topics covered:

1. Mixed Marriage between Hearing and Deaf

Unless we are in their shoes, no amount of sharing can let us truly understand the good & bad times..

Googled e following story:

2. Job Interview

The speaker being deaf shared of her experience in Interviews of how Interactions between her and her Interviewer would be scribbling notes.

Jobs that are best for them for those that requires not meeting clients & communication.

3. Hearing Aids

With technology advances, it seems as if the design have been modernised:

Digital : Due to tiny micro-processors, digital technology has been introduced into the most modern hearing aids. Acoustic signals are converted into a binary code at high speed and with great precision. Complex calculations provide the ultimate flexibility to individualise hearing systems to suit a particular hearing loss.
