Went down to Vivo city at 12pm today, met my sotongs family members to celebrate our Sotong president Auntie Mary belated birthday.. except sweetie aka lao shi couldn't be there.. she wasn't feeling well.
We went to this chinese restaurant, Dian xiao er..due to the bigness of vivocity, we have difficulty in finding the place, and our lao er give us the not exact location.. telling us it's near to starbucks when it was quite a distance apart..and she was late due to take wrong bus.. sotong lao er in actions again.
The food was good..simply love the sambal kangkong.. and it was not that expensive..ate till very full.
We decided to watch a movie after that.. and while waiting for time to pass.. went walking around & i collected my watch which had been due for collection for more then a month ago..
This is the pig watch bought at ten dollars.. purchased it with Lihao & Amanda on the day when Vivo city just opened. We wanted to buy a watch for the 5 of us.... incld. Norin & xiuqi, we planned to wear it together at work... but as the shop didn't have additional stock for the watch in pink & thus have to wait for collection...well, guess i can't wear it together with them at all, as i'm no longer working in grill..this watch just have to remain in my accesories box for the time being.
After which we went to eat dessert at a cafe.. wanted to eat the brownie so badly...but sigh.. it's sold out.. so have to settle for the fries & ate banana spilt.

HAPPY FEET!I so wanted to watch it when i saw it's preview as the penguins were so cute..
I graded it a 7/10..it's a cute show & it does have it's storylines.. it's not just a bunch of penguins acting cute & hanging around the ice zone..
It's an enjoyable show..& i wld recommend my friends to watch it.
Got this baby penguin soft toy on purchase of minimum of 4 tickets..it's sooo cute..
It was kinda throw face to admit that i was excited when the ticket staff passed the soft toy to Maggie as she bought the tickets..seeing that my reactions.. lao san who held the plush toy ask me to have it..she says she have too much of such stuff & lao er, who is much younger apparenlty didn't have any reaction to this penguin makes me feel so kiddish..20 plus le, still act like a small girl when i see such cute stuff.. but i can't help it, it's my normal instinct to be happy whenever i see cute stuff & i simply adore penguins.. gonna put it in my office desk tmr.. so it's gonna cheer me up.
After the movie, we went to eat again at the foodcourt at level 3..and my..it was expensive..lao er spend 8 dollars plus a bowl of Bak Ku Teh, rice & veggie..Lao san spend $6 on a bowl of laksa & i spend $6 for a plate of nasi lemak,with 3 dishes..Maggie's was much more reasonable, her Kuay chup cost her 4.50.. and we had an additional side dishes of chicken wings & steamed eggs... Eating 2 full meals a day is just so sinful..
Neverthless, it was a fun day.. our next gathering would be in Dec.. having our annually christmas celebration.. gonna look forward to it.
